Biography

Dr. Jon “Tony” Oliver serves as the Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Southern Utah University. Previously Dr. Oliver served as the interim associate dean of the College of Health and Human Services at Eastern Illinois University. He had served in various faculty and administrative roles at that institution since 2002. Dr. Oliver earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Brigham Young University - Provo. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Kansas.

Dr. Jeffrey Miller will serve as Dean of the College of Engineering and Computational Sciences, and Dr. Jon “Tony” Oliver has been appointed Dean of the College of Health Sciences. Both were selected after a national search.
