Protests are turning ugly with damage, violence and even death.  Shootings and attacks on mosques, churches and public institutions are now happening at such a pace that the public is barely only one tragedy and another one strikes. Extremism is on the rise. The calls for thoughts and prayers are now common. The world, it seems, is fraying.
