Biography
As an educator at the College of Engineering and previously at the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University, I am passionate about transforming education into an engaging, practical experience that bridges theory with real-world application. Drawing on my diverse background—including my tenure as a Sales Trainer at Bell Canada—I incorporate practical insights on leadership, personal branding, entrepreneurship, and industry-ready product development and economic strategies into my courses. This comprehensive approach enriches classroom learning and equips students with the skills to innovate and excel in today’s dynamic professional landscape.
My research in entrepreneurship, with a focus on the impact of e-commerce on small businesses, further informs my teaching and keeps my curriculum aligned with current industry trends. Additionally, I cultivate robust partnerships with businesses and nonprofits, providing students with invaluable opportunities for experiential learning, mentorship, and entrepreneurial exploration—all of which empower them to become confident, market-ready professionals.
