The UK government has a new International Education Strategy. The aim is to have at least 600,000 international students in UK universities each year by 2030 (a 2% year on year growth). Another aim is to generate £35-billion per year in education exports for UK education as a whole by 2030 (a 4% per year growth).
There is a £100-million fund for students to experience international placements and transfers from September 2021. Priority markets for recruitment are: India, Indonesia, Saudia Arabia, Vietnam and Nigeria.
