Cedarville Theological Seminary: Responding to a Pastor Shortage
Cedarville Theological Seminary launched this year to meet two converging problems: a wave of pastors retiring with no one behind them, and a national decline in evangelical seminaries even as demand for solid ministry training grows.
Offering a residential MDiv and a fully online Master of Theological Studies, the seminary leans on Cedarville's existing strength in undergraduate and graduate ministry education, built around close faculty-to-student mentorship rather than a big anonymous program.
