Celebrates Year-over-Year Increases in Customers & Revenues, New Marquee Account Wins and New Director of Sales

ExpertFile, a leading provider of cloud-based marketing software used by organizations to manage and promote their experts announced today that 2014 was a record year for growth. Higher year-over-year new customer additions and increased deal size from institutional customers drove the highest level of performance in the company’s history.

During the past year, the company made impressive gains selling its enterprise SaaS (Software as a Service) platform into vertical markets such as Higher Education and Healthcare. In September, the company also expanded its team with a number of key hires. Deanne Taenzer joined ExpertFile as Director of Sales & Business Development. She previously worked at organizations such as InfoTech Research and spent the majority of her career at Microsoft, where she held a number of key positions managing direct sales and partner channels.

“We’re delighted to see the response we’re receiving from Higher Education and Healthcare customers,” said Peter Evans, Co-Founder and CEO of ExpertFile. “Our content management (CMS), workflow and analytics features address unique publishing and marketing challenges. Now with the addition of Deanne Taenzer to our senior team we’re growing our sales pipeline and signing more major institutional deals.”

“This was a very exciting year for ExpertFile in driving topline revenue growth,” says Randall Howard, Managing Partner of VERDEXUS, who is an investor and member of the company’s Board of Directors. “Increased deal size and multi-year contracts also are great indicators that show that the company is firing on all cylinders.”

As content marketing as a category continues to grow, organizations are taking a much closer look at how their subject-matter experts are being represented online. Across a range of industries such as healthcare, education, professional services and member-based industry associations, expert marketing programs that drive brand reputation are a major focus. “It’s exciting to see marketing organizations making bigger investments in their expert content to drive this important piece of their owned media strategy,” says Evans. “We’re set for an exciting year in 2015.”
